YOUTH NEWS AND NOTES

 

Well here we are at the end of another month, and it hardly seems we have had time to breathe.  The youth group continues to meet each Sunday afternoon, spending time in study, fellowship, service, and fun!  We continue to stock the food pantry, and once again did our own version of "Supermarket Sweep" at the local Food Lion.  These kids are getting good at bargain shopping.  Maybe we could "loan" them out to help some of you.  For our fun activity this month we went bowling at Oceana thanks to Dawn Marshall.  We had a great time, but none of us will make the bowling hall of fame anytime soon.  Next month we have big plans.  We'll continue our shopping experience, have a weekk of study and on Friday, May 23rd we are planning a Luau Lock-in.  That should be fun!!  We will NOT meet on Sunday, May 11th - Mother's Day.  Until next month - ALOHA!

 

CONFIRMATION CLASS ENDS - WELCOME TO OUR NEW MEMBERS!

 

Last month two of our youth who attended the confirmation class and joined at the March session meeting were left out.  Please welcome Alex and Jacob Marshall as two of our newest members.  Both attended the class and appeared before the session sharing their faith statements.  Ms. Linda apologizes for forgetting them.
