| Oct 22, 1916 | Rev. Squires of Knox Presbyterian of Norfolk preached first service to 60 people. |
| Jan 17, 1917 | Sunday School organized |
| Jun 17, 1917 | Organization Committee organized |
| Nov 19, 1919 | Church building completed. |
| 1923 | Part of congregation leaves to form First Presbyterian Church of Virginia Beach. |
| 1951 | Sunday School addition completed. Built, primarily by the men of the church. |
| 1961 | Part of congregation leaves to form Kings Grant Presbyterian Church. |
| 1962 | Steeple added to church. |
| 1966 | Nursery Rooms added to Sunday School Building |
| 1975 | One of the original churches in the area to participate in the Meals on Wheels Program.

| 1978 | Extensive fire from arson caused major damages to church on Valentines Day. |
| 1985 | Addition for activity room, kitchen, and offices completed. Parking lot blacktopped. |
| 1989 | The first Presbyterian church in the area to join with the Volunteers of America in the Winter Shelter Program for the homeless. |
| 1996 | Joined the Virginia Beach Covenant during its first Habitat for Humanity Build. Have actively participated in all thirteen of its builds to date. |
| 2005 | Began construction of new sanctuary. |
| 2006 | April 22 - Dedicated the new sanctuary |

We are a congregation of families and individuals who believe we are saved by God's grace. We strive to grow spiritually through worship, study, and fellowship. We are committed to serving God in our church and in the world around us.
