                                                                                                                 MISSION  PLATFORM

Brief statement of Mission: LPC wishes to live, love, and grow doing the Lord's work. We acknowledge the importance of a personal relationship with  Jesus Christ. We are a congregation of families and individuals who believe we are saved by God's grace. We strive to grow spiritually through worship, study, and fellowship. We are committed to serving God in our church and in the world around us.

Affirmation of Faith:

I) We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His coming again, and the resurrection of the world.
        2) We believe in being accountable to God.
        3) We believe in the body of Christ.

        4) We believe in feeding the spirit and the body of our church and community.
        5) We believe in helping members grow in their faith.

Hearing from God: When God speaks to us through his unchanging word, these God inspired thoughts are our highest aspirations. We hear God's voice by listening to one another and becoming a supportive community of faith. The Holy Spirit compels us to expand our traditions and to be willing to change and grow in our ministry .

Vision: Our vision is to grow and expand our programs and worship services. As we grow, we will maintain our sense of family through small group ministries. We pledge to spread God's message. By the year 2010, we see our membership to have grown to include 250 members.
