November was another busy month for the Youth Group.  We hosted our annual Chili Cookoff and would like to congratulate Amber Lattuca for winning this year's Golden Spoon Award.  Thank you to all of our fine chefs that participated...it was a tough vote...they were all very delicious!  Great food and great fellowship!!!  We also stocked the Food Pantry twice this month.  It's that time of year, and we are certainly serving our community through the mission of our Food Pantry.  Thank you to all who have brought in food or contrubuted through $.02 a meal.  We ended our month by celebrating together at our Thanksgiving Dinner.  We all have so much to be thankful for and this group is certainly one of them.  We are blessed at Lynnhaven with a wonderful group of young adults who are dedicated to their church and to growing in their faith.  Ms. Linda and Ms. Jaime are certainly thankful everyday for their "kiddleywinks."

As December approaches we will finish out the year by participating in the Living Nativity and helping with the Children's Christmas Program.  We are also participating in the Saturday night worship service during Advent.  We will have our Christmas Party/Sleepover at Ms. Linda's house on Friday, December 18th, which will include caroling to our shut-ins, going to see the Christmas lights at the beach, elf costumes and of course roasting marshmallows (but not in Ms. Linda's fireplace like they requested)...

We would like to thank you for all of the support you have given to us this year and every year.  We know that we are blessed to have a church family that loves us and believes in us and is willing to support us in whatever we decide to do.
